Dr. Christian Fischer serves as the Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SMARTRAC N.V. since July 2007.
Prior to this, he held the position of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) since 2006. Fischer joined SMARTRAC from Walter Bau-AG, conjoint with Dywidag, in Augsburg, where he was Member of the Board of Directors, CFO and Chief Restructuring Officer from 2004 to 2005. Previously he worked in the Competence Center Restructuring and Corporate Finance, since 2003 as well as Partner and Member of the Executive Board at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Berlin. From 1996 to 1999 Fischer was Project Manager for Corporate Planning, Controlling and M&A at Robert Bosch GmbH in Stuttgart.
Dr. Christian Fischer holds a PhD in economic science from the University of Stuttgart/Hohenheim, Germany.
