Access Control

Millions of end-users already benefit from SMARTRAC’s RFID products in the access control segment. We have successfully developed and manufactured inlays for admission tickets, such as the Allianz Arena in Munich ("Arena Card") or contactless ski tickets in many Europeans skiing regions. Our RFID technology enables the efficient management of entire building complexes with different levels of security. Access to highly confidential computer networks, for example in computer companies, is controlled through contactless identification with SMARTRAC technology.

SMARTRAC produces the inlays. Classic access cards/chip cards used for entry to buildings and office complexes can be combined with other functions such as time recording or cashless payments. We design the transponders to meet customer requirements - either in the form of a card or as user-friendly tags (key fobs, wristwatches etc.).
