Background


Future Communications Company (FCC), based in Kuwait, is the country’s main distributor of Nokia phones and accessories and operates more than 30 retail stores.


Challenge


The company wanted to provide best-in-class customer service and inventory management to drive sales and maximize profit margins.


Solution


FCC uses DogBone, ShortDipole and Belt RFID products to tag communications merchandise ranging from mobile phone packages to accessories. These items are stocked on intelligent shelves, powered by RFID readers that alert employees if the merchandise falls below preset levels.
